Make a Wish Come True: Teens for Teens 2017 Gift Drive

Kennedy Montano, Representative of Initiative

This Christmas season, we are collecting gifts for teenagers to donate to the Langley Christmas Bureau with the help of the Humanitarian Club. The Langley Christmas Bureau is an amazing non-profit organization that helps families in need celebrate the holiday season. In previous years, there hasn’t been many gifts available for teenagers at their “Toy Depot”, where the donated gifts are given out to registered families. We think it’s time we fix that, which is why we launched the Teens for Teens Gift Drive in Walnut Grove.

We’ll be collecting new, unwrapped gifts in Ms. Bryant-Taneda’s room (Room 182) and Ms. McGivern’s room (Room 244) from November 8th until December 6th. Donate, encourage your friends to do the same, and help make another teen’s Christmas special!

A few ideas of gifts to give are scarves, headphones, PJs (in a variety of sizes), makeup, sports equipment, backpacks, hoodies and slippers (variety of sizes), but the possibilities are endless! Any gift that you would want to receive is something that another teen would be happy to receive as well.

If you have any questions, feel free to email christmaselves16@gmail.com for more information!

Happy gift giving this holiday season!
