Boo! A new season of screams is here! The amusement park you recognize and love is gone. Instead, it’s been transformed into the nightmare of your dreams. In its place stands eight haunted houses filled with horror that stepping inside may change you forever… It sounds great, right!?
Fright Nights, Vancouver’s popular Halloween attraction, is at Playland (PNE grounds), and is open on select nights from October 4th until October 31st, starting each night at 7:00 p.m. The Halloween event parades 20 hair-raising rides and 8 horrifying haunted houses, including new additions.
However, be cautioned that Fright Nights is not everyone’s cup of tea. It is not recommended for ages 12 and under, seniors age 65 and over, people with sensitivity to fog machines or strobe lighting, people with high blood pressure, heart conditions, and pregnant women or anyone that are frightened easily. So if you’re not looking to have your insides feasted on, then take a bite out of the new pumpkin spice donuts or enjoy an evening of Playland’s thrilling rides like AtmostFear, Hellevator, and the Wooden Roller coaster.
On the other hand, if you just can’t get enough of being scared and you love a good spook, try visiting the haunted houses which features everything from murderous clowns, creepy real live dolls, and you might even catch a glimpse of your favourite infamous movie characters of Hollywood horrors. You know, just your regular fun night out.
